So after visiting the @chelsea_physic_garden and finding beautiful soaps, chocolate and cinnamon almonds and a fantastic lunch by @tangerinedreamcafe ...we left slightly devastated by the news that the Tangerine Dream Cafe is leaving, against their wishes, to be replaced. It seems that everything good loses the battle to lucre or politics, and that saddened my heart. As my visitors from abroad know I have guided them All towards the physic garden and the authentic, seasonal food by #tangerinedreamcafe , which I experienced as something good and true that remains in London. It seems it is too late to save it, there has been a petition and so there we go...another beautiful thing that did not need interfering with loses out to interfering. By happy chance, my gorgeous daughter needed a trip to M&S (don’t even get me started on that one..how I’d love to interfere with that brand, so good and so much bad seems hardly possible together..) so.. we chanced upon the life-changing experience that is @japanhouseldn ..it is heaven, and full of modern authenticity, often using ancient techniques. My new favourite place. I will still visit the Chelsea Physic Garden, for the plants. I’m so sad about the cafe... #japanhouselondon #authentic #bestshop
